The Dessy Group

Have also come across some nice bridesmaid dresses on the The Dessy Group website, where again, similar to the J.L.M Couture, there are various different designers - Leyla Rose, Dessy Collection, Alfred Sung and After Six.

Here are some I've picked from the website that might be of some interest...

The nearest places that stocks some of these collections are-
Harrogate - Confetti and Lace
York - Mia Sposa
Knottingley - Tie The Knot

J.L.M Couture

This website features both bridal and bridesmaid dresses by a few different designers, Jim Hjelm, Lazaro, Tara Keely and Alvina Valenta.

Below are some examples of the ones I think most fitting for Melissa. Again, not necessarily the colours, but the styles.

Jim Hjelm-

Lazaro-

I've had a look at where some shops are that stock some of these dresses.

One in York - Andrea Bambridge

One in Pontefract - Promfret Bridal Gowns.

So will give one of them a call to try and get an appointment.

Glitzy Secrets

Just been browsing some side head bands on this well stocked website. Here are some I've come across...

Big Round White Balloons!

This is my latest brain storm!!!

Big round white balloons!

They can be placed in various places. Wether it be either side of the entrance to the church. As decoration in the church (would need to check that this would be allowed!). Or in the entrance at the reception? Attached to the wedding car? Around the room at the reception? Up in the ceiling above dance floor? Either end of the bar? Either side of the fireplace? Hung within the flower centre pieces? As the centre pieces with the table number attached?
And as a prop for photo opportunities?

Possibilities are endless! And in reality, this should be a cheaper option? Will need to shop around!

But here are some examples of what Im thinking...

Simon's Suit

I've asked Simon to choose what he'd like to wear at the wedding.

This is what he's thinking...

Mori Lee

Have been searching for more potential bridesmaid dresses for Melissa.

After having a chat with her, we've decided we both like the dress on a previous post, from Pronovias.
So I've been on the hunt for a one shoulder maxi style dress. Colour is yet to be decided!

Here is what I've found on the Mori Lee website.

M&S Cakes

Have just been checking out the wedding cakes M&S have to offer on their website and there's loads of really lovely ones at really decent prices.
Definitely something to consider...

Centre Piece...

This is beautiful!!!!

LOVE IT!!!!!

Pronovias

This is a nice website which has numerous ideas for bridesmaid dresses.
This is one that's stood out that I think I could picture Melissa in. But not in this colour.

Just another idea as I'm struggling with what we're going to put her in!!

Raspberry Ripple

This is the wedding cake I've had my heart on!! But I'm still undecided what I want. But it's still early days! Think I have until maybe 2 months before to make the decision really!

It'sMadagascar vanilla bean cake, vanilla bean, buttercream raspberry preserve, fresh raspberries and strawberries with fresh flowers as extra decoration.

It's form a London based company called Maisie Fantaisie and this example is £375.00.

The website also feature LOADS of other beautiful cake ideas, all quite a bit more money than this one though!

Vivienne Westwood Shoes

After buying the shoes I previously featured on the blog, I decided they wouldn't be suitable - Far too high and would have made me taller than the groom. So I've sent them back.

I've since discovered these Vivienne Westwood Melissa shoes!!
Head bridesmaid is called Melissa so they're meant to be!
They come in a variety of colours, so I'm a bit apprehensive about ordering them before I've got the dress!

Loads of websites that sell them. These ones in the picture are from the Hervia website.
